Thangam and Kalvikendra, increases skill development by enabling people to actively participate in the training carried out on the Kalvikendra campus under the programmes of KVIC - Govt. Of India. The training will cover handicraft, Agarbathi, and honey bee breeding, among so many other things. Thangam and Kalvikendra promoted health awareness among the SHG members they formed and nurtured on IMR, MMR, HIV, nutrition, and immunizations in especially. constructed household toilet as part of government of Tamil Nadu programme to end open defecation & several health camps were conducted.
